2- Enter the update interval time ‘1’ minute or whatever you want.3- Do you wish to run something at successful update? How can I figure out why SME's client or the no-ip client cannot or will not update my address for either the dyndns or no-ip service? I followed the instructions all the way to the part before moving it to the right directory for automatic functioning. So all I had to do was move it and use the command "noip2" to get things rolling. Detailed instructions for installation of the no-ip client are here: I did that. But I just checked and the permissions on /etc/no-ip2should be like so It was 600, but didn.t work either, so I followed tips from the thread I linked and changed it to 644. Anyway, I rerun noip2 -C, this time with sudo (don't remember if I used sudo the first time), will see how that goes...⮀systemctl status noip2.service noip2.service - No-IP Dynamic DNS Update Client Loaded: loaded (/usr/lib/systemd/system/noip2.service; enabled) Active: active (running) since Sat 2013-02-02 CET Process: 590 Exec Start=/usr/bin/noip2 -c /etc/no-ip2(code=exited, status=0/SUCCESS) Main PID: 600 (noip2) CGroup: name=systemd:/system/noip2.service └─600 /usr/bin/noip2 -c /etc/no-ip2while googling i found that tcp 8245 needs to be forwarded for noip client (is this really needed?644 permissions to be read (but you said you had tried 644).

The program starts fine when I start it from the CLI, but if I try to make this startup script work it won't start.

I guess I can't use this new panel for my no-ip account?

With a static ip address you can access your computer over the internet from anywhere in the world using

I got this script from their install instructions: #!
